2. Description of Service

UpgradeHub provides a smart host management platform for short-term rental hosts, property managers, and hospitality businesses. Our service allows you to track expenses, coordinate with cleaners, manage your calendar, and organize your hosting business in one place.

3. Contact and Inquiries

When you contact us via our contact form, WhatsApp, or email, you provide us with your name and email address. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and discuss potential business opportunities.

4. Business Discussions

When you reach out to discuss business, we will have conversations about your hosting needs, potential pricing, and implementation timelines. Any information shared during these discussions will be kept confidential and used only to provide you with accurate information about our services.

5. Payments

When you decide to purchase our service, subscription fees will be discussed and agreed upon. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. UpgradeHub does not store or have access to your payment card details. Stripe handles all payment processing directly between you and their secure platform.

6. Account Registration

To use our Host Pro plan, you will need to create an account with your email and a secure password. In the current local-first version of UpgradeHub, business data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You are solely responsible for backing up and protecting your business data.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

8. User Responsibilities

As a host using our service, you agree to:

  • Maintain accurate property information and availability
  • Keep your business data backed up on your own devices
  • Not misuse or attempt to disrupt the service
  • Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations
  • Handle guest bookings and inquiries appropriately

9. Data Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to provide our service: your name, email, and subscription status. Your business data stays on your own devices. You have the right to request complete deletion of your personal information at any time. Simply contact us at support@upgradehub.app and we will permanently remove all your data from our systems.

10. Your Business Data

All your business data—including bookings, guest information, cleaner schedules, expenses, and financial records—is stored locally on your own devices. We do not have access to this data. You are solely responsible for backing up and protecting your business information.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of UpgradeHub are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without explicit permission. Your business data remains your property.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UpgradeHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost guests, technical issues, or downtime beyond our control.

13. Service Availability

We strive to keep UpgradeHub available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience technical issues. We are not liable for temporary downtime.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance.
